The writing beats the shit out of House, I'd say it's on par with Soprano's. The ACTING is what really makes it shine. Even when the writing is bad, the actors consistantly make it work.

WIN!
This is like Cabo in your pants.

Shots of nut butter directed at children sounds all kinds of horrible, Historian.

The escape didn't bother me a bit, and here's why: In October I was in the hospital for a week. I went to two movies across the street that week and no one ever noticed. If they did, they never mentioned it to me. I just got up and walked out, they let you wear regular clothes so it wasn't hard to disguise my sick

I went to arts camp with Rumor/Rumer. I was way jealous at the time because I knew she was going to automatically get great parts in movies and shit because of her "connections." Looks like I was wrong!

And I love Ben's demon girlfriend, she's a much better actress and interesting character than Andi — "I like to get up in there and feel the heart beating before I squish it with my hands." — how deadpan adorable but also

This just made my day.
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!

um
I meant people can tell where you're from, using just your accent.

you smell like a baby prostitute
If you're from Louisiana, accents are a big fucking deal. I'm from Louisiana, and people can tell where you're from — accurately — within about a 50 mile radius (sometimes as little as 5 or 10). This show is set in Louisiana, which sets it up for linguistic scrutiny. So the accent

Not that anyone will see this, but…
As someone who grew up in serious Bible-belt, Bush-lovin', liberal-hatin Deep South territory [then went to art school in Michigan and lived in pot-smokin, hippie-retirement-community Boulder, CO…] I've done my fair share of country-listening. It's become apparent to me that
