I'll probably slog through this show, mostly for Ari Graynor and the period location shoots (has Canter's changed in 40 years?). But it will feel more like homework than anything actually enjoyable.

The only thing I can think of is the budget and possibly production hassles in season 2. But it has a huge international following that dovetails with Netflix's growth strategy. Could the Season 2 numbers have really been that bad?

Well this really sucks. Sense8 is one of my favorite Netflix shows. I just binged the whole series twice. And it's going out as an unresolved cliffhanger. I hope at least the Wachowskis are allowed to wrap up the storyline somehow.

Suspiciously similar to how Blue Lives Matter and All Lives Matter gets hashtagged over any Black Lives Matter issue or protest but are eerily silent when actual cops/white people are shot.

I've seen fake or out-of-context posts reposted on tumblrinaction-type places. Even if there's a small handful of extremists (again, I dispute their existence in anything but the fevered imaginings of people who are just bummed they can't say the N word in public anymore), they're hardly representative of on-campus…

"Campus safe space SJW/free speech oppressors" humor always falls flat for me just because it's such a political straw man. It just doesn't exist the way all the anti-"political correctness" rebels insist that it does. And no, using your free speech to protest Nazi hate speech is not an attack on their free speech.

I'd be surprised. From my hazy recollection of undergrad business law, promotions like Ladies' Nights are not violations of anti-discrimination or equal protection statutes. Whenever some MRA tries to sue, the case usually doesn't get past a motion to dismiss. This lawyer is probably just a scummy shake down artist.

Just another reminder that Fox News has always goosed its ratings by doing things like paying public accommodation businesses (restaurants, hotels, office lobbies, etc.) to keep Fox News as the default channel. Even those tactics aren't enough to keep it out of 3rd place now.
