Dan's series arc is my favorite on the show. From the revelations of the apology to [vague SPOILERS] his work with his therapist and his setbacks, Dan is the most interesting character on the show. And Josh Charles plays him like gangbusters.

I think he'll be most remembered in these parts for indirectly inspiring the chicken fingers episode of Community. All of the theft, arson, extortion and murder he is responsible for is forgivable for that alone.
