I think I'd get more out of these write ups if I knew the names of any of the characters. I only now know the lead character's name because the nurse shouted it out.

They killed Viserys, another one note character along Joffrey's line, not too long after he wore out his welcome. I don't know what more they can do with him. "Oh, here's some more sadistic shit for him to do"?

I think one of the themes of the series is that magic is gradually coming back to the world. The long summer is ending, winter is coming, and it's bringing magic back with it.

When would they've had the chance? Arya escaped the castle and just happened to be spotted by Yoren at her father's execution. He was probably secretly planning on dropping her off at Winterfell.

"Baelish's thinking: Well, I'm semi-responsible for the death of Caetlyn's husband, seems like the perfect time to hit on her!"

I thought I vaguely remembered Lancel having a scene with Pycelle in the first season, before he's made Robert's cupbearer.

Indians call her Corn Williams.

Pretty sure it's Max Payne, the investigator.

The book's a good read too. Lots of pictures.

1984. Except they put the rat cage on their faces.

What was that number Margery was wearing on her walk and talk with Littlefinger? Holy cow.

Uh, a lot of people had that idea. It wasn't particularly brilliant or anything. His company is just the one that became the big fish for some reason.

I really liked the Penn Jillette one, and I don't think there was a single question asked.

Auckerman needs to enforce a no dark/weird/creepy sexual back story rule for a couple months.

Oh, the enthusiastic homoeroticism was fantastic. But it proves my point. It was a prepared bit/part of the characters that was the best part of the episode, and they took a while to get to it, with little framing, because they went off on an early tangent and were never able to bring it back to who these characters

Yeah, she became the straight man as Ms. Lister's back story was explored. She doesn't get to do much in that role.

Since I've never seen even a minute of the West Wing, I completely missed any and all WW references.

Yup. He's the character who I'd least like to spend time with. Everyone else has actual skill sets and perspectives. Kirk is in 'driven leader' mode 24/7, and doesn't spend much time being an actual human being.

The only character more boring than Buffy was Riley.
