This is the first year I've bought more than one game brand new, but I'm pretty happy with my picks.

Anthony Heald and Jon Polito can be added to the list.

Does anyone know what Rashida Jones pilot he was talking about? I''m shocked that something starring Rashida Jones didn't make it to air.

Licensed movie tie-in game is not very good. Who'd a thunk it?

@shan That's how it goes for just about every Disney property. The toys, bedsheets, increased park attendance, etc. all make more money than the actual movie they're tied to.

Palin is the politician most likely to actually say "I was elected to lead, not to read".

You are correct, sir. Liberals taking 2 seconds out of their days to mock one of the most mock-worthy public figures of our lifetimes means a. they have no time to do anything else, like improving their communities; and b. are OBSESSED with Sarah Palin and can't let her go (something most conservatives seem to really

Nice to see Kaboom get a mention here. Greg Araki films tend to fall of the map soon after release, so thanks. It's an awesome throwback to early Araki that combines the best parts of Doom Generation and Nowhere. Plus, naked Juno Temple. Does anyone know if those tattoos are real?

Even in my early pre-teen days, I realized that MTV cycled through things faster than Lance Armstrong. So I knew that if I ever wanted to see a video or show I liked again, I'd better fucking tape it the first time around because who knew if it would be on again? So that meant recording 3-4 hours of MTV a day and then

Really? The "Occupy Aubrey Plaza" joke writes itself, but this is what you come up with? Just sad.

I know. I just like taking things super seriously, especially if it means I get to drop comedy theory terms.

Didn't see it. Obviously parallel thought of obvious joke construction.

Or how three of the world's most wanted (and easily spotted: two beautiful white people and a hulking he man) fugitives, who repeatedly state that they're broke, could find not only all of the equipment needed in such a short time, but could also find anyone willing to rob a bank with them.

The second one is terrible, I abstain from the third since I worked on it, the fourth is on par with the first, and the fifth is the best one if you don't care about plot holes or all of the supporting characters' back stories from the earlier movies.

Six movies and a TV season!

There was probably a method to the madness. Bored to Death, HTMIIA, and Hung had peaked in audience share and were more expensive shows to produce. HBO is probably gambling that Enlightened will gain attention and audience as awards season comes around. And if it doesn't, the show wasn't that expensive anyway and you

Oh, Dream On. Watching original, uncut episodes of that show is like watching HBO in its toddler years, just learning to curse and flash boobs.

Uh oh, Gene Shalit's job just may be in danger!…

It's probably at least partly because he's kind of crazy. Just an "out there" kind of guy. People don't want him for the A-list leading roles because who knows what he'll say during the press junket?

Sigh. Bored to Death was one of those shows where I watched the pilot and then told myself I'd catch up with the show later, when it wasn't opposite stuff I preferred to watch. Three seasons later, I still haven't caught up.
