Sigh. Replied to wrong thread. Move along.

Well, until that far off magical day when such a device is invented, I'll have to settle for watching it On Demand, where it will actually count in the ratings.

I keep meaning to watch and I keep forgetting that it's on. Sigh.

Heh. I just started Dragon Age Origins last week and accidentally seduced the gay character last night. I was being nice and a little flirty and he started hitting on me hard, so I just went with it. I'm not sure if it's a one night stand a la Jack in Mass Effect 2 or what.

It's simply because mainstream Libertarianism is a huge bait and switch. They recruit with talk about free speech and drug legalization, but their actual policy pursuits focus on "free market" deregulation for corporations and cutting taxes on the rich. They're just Republicans who don't want to be called Republicans.

In their defense, all talk about interior design is insufferably pretentious.

It's on my shortlist of best episodes of the year, sharing space with the Patton Oswalt/Don Dimello episode. Peretti was one of the all-time MVPs.

I'm glad that the writers were tired of making him a one note character. After all, he had to be doing something the other 23 hours of the day that he wasn't obstructing the Mars clan.

The show could always have used some more bro talk.

I always wondered if the dialog about Veronica's body ("Flat…just like the lord made me") were Kristen Bell's idea. Because she has a similar monologue in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Hmm.

Artie's also one of the best dancers (up there with Mike Chang and Brittany) and they put him in a wheelchair.

Years later, and I'm still trying to figure out who the intended audience for that train wreck was. It also solidified my theory that Julie Taymor is a credit-stealing one hit wonder.

Yeah, it's going the way of M2, the MTV spinoff that was supposed to actually play music videos, but also gave up that ghost within a few years.

What are you complaining about? We have ALL of that, except for the actual bad guys.

Sigh. Another reminder of the failed promise of the History Channel and America's interest in all things historical (as long as it's only about wars that Americans fought in).

"Too Many Hitlers!" - That Hitler cloning project was a little too successful!

U.S. networks don't show boobs. UK wins.

"Thing is, you can't just say "Get me a show with great writing!" and boom, one appears."
Thing is, it actually is almost that easy. There's no secret to producing quality material: find talented creatives (which really isn't tough to do in Hollywood), hire them, then trust them and stay out of their way. The problem

They're not canceling it. They're just retooling it by firing everyone but Kelli Garner and renaming it KATE CAMERON, SKY SPY!

6 seasons and a movie!
