Haha guess I'm on a totally different wavelength…the slapping scene made me despise her more! I really don't feel like you should slap totally random innocent people in the face just because you've made some bad decisions and don't like your life.

Well the writers didn't do her character any favors…she's pretty much impossible to like. There was an early episode where the other women were telling her she should try for a job and she exclaimed with utter befuddlement, "But I don't know anything!" and yeah, her fate as the worst was sealed.

I really enjoyed Manhattan…it had some ups and downs (the downs mostly centered around Abby whose character was so vapid and spineless I was desperately hoping those divorce threats would stick so we wouldn't have to deal with her next year) but overall I found it to be quite fascinating.
