Hopefully Shannon doesn't just get work based on being 'that crazy guy' because his performance in Take Shelter is probably one of the most controlled displays of creeping mental illness (maybe) that I've ever seen. Its also a great film full stop.

Perhaps this was just abit of fun because most of these had nothing classic/iconic/even affective about them. Some downright terrible choices in this video from pretty good filmmakers.

Wormhole may of been a reference to True Detective, pretty sure it was.

No episode featuring Matthew McConaughey getting sucked into a wormhole, cursing the words 'Mimsy', during a Wacky Racers contest can be a pitiful C+.

If anyones never seen the video with Brian and George Martin in the mixing studio..it's both heartwarming and very telling about Brians perfectionism..or/and doubt in himself.. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

So glad Showtime seems to be giving Lynch and Frost free reign on doing it entirely their way. I'm still in therapy over Dexter so I approach Showtime with a heavy dosage.

9 episodes doesn't seem a fat lot but..can't..no…must..not.. complain…*cracks head on mirror

Agreed!

Couldn't of said it better myself. Hertz drums up so many conflicting emotions with so little.

Classic

Melanie Thierry was brilliant in this, in more ways than one. At least Gilliam understands sex appeal.

Some days I love it..some days its too overblown.

They basically gave it a 6/10..which is about right. They are back peddling a little I think in how enamored they were with the band to begin with but I am of the thought that bands should progress somewhat too. This is a progression..a slight one, a record full of energy, some ideas, some interesting bits..but on the

A- is far too high for this. It's a slight return to form..with some good tracks and alot of autopilot stuff. As a whole album it has no real interesting arc..or progression. Hate to say it but PF were spot on with their review this time. Best stuff on here is My Desire..All the Rage..and Anywhere.

The apocalypse is well and truely upon us

Hate to use the word but this looks quite 'meta'. Not in any particularly intelligent fashion by the looks of it, but it's more than I expected. Is this a total collaboration with the writing? It feels like the FG characters are eating alot of humble pie just by existing in the Simpsons universe. Hopefully it'll have

Interesting. Never saw the pilot. Strange how they went with a totally different version of Edmund..and then went back to it.

'My mother died, I hardly noticed. My father cut off his head and fried it in garlic in the hope of attracting my attention, I scarcely looked up from my work. My wife brought armies of lovers to the house who worked in droves so that she might bring up a huge family of bastards, I cared not!'

None of those I'd consider great..but all had their moments. Perhaps the standard for blockbusters is so high, I'm just being picky. Call it the Nolan effect..but if something isn't excessively strong in just one respect, (Nolans main strength being the writing, and yes I include his brother)..I get the feel of a
