Would you ask Billy Bob Thornton that question?
Would you ask Billy Bob Thornton that question?
I'm always getting the two of these mixed up.
Also, what are the shells for?
When they're not a birthday party (?)
Wasn't she also DeForrest Kelley in the new Star Trek?
I was going to say, I'm surprised no one's mentioned this. Roger Corman's Fantastic Four was made quickly and cheaply (ie, by Roger Corman) to protect the film rights, and was never seen (or at least, never properly released.) I don't suppose the same can happen with this one, since it most likely will not be made…
And yes, Jenny Lewis was an actor as well, a child actor from Troop Beverly Hills and "he touched my breast!" in The Wizard fame.
On the phone topic- I hate how everyone in movies still have answering machines, who still has answering machines? No one, Nora Ephron, no one has an answering machine anymore, so find a different lazy way to provide exposition.
Is that the one with the Paul Auster screenplay? I thought this might be, but with no mention of Auster, I'm assuming that Lulu's the one.
Which is sadder- that she owned three Nia Vardalos DVDs or that we live in a world where Nia Vardalos has three DVDs available for depressing people to own?
The Giles, "Tiny, tiny babies" line is an oft-quoted line in my household, possibly the oft-quotedest Buffy line.
RE: Buffy getting a pager, I wonder if it made her feel like she was in A Tribe Called Quest.
That is NOT what Entourage leads me to believe.
Boxing Helena, now with I Can't Believe It's Not Verisimilitude!
Wasn't there a VH1 original movie about the band Sweetwater?
Also, first Iraq War, much better than the second Iraq War.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like…
On the run from Johnny Law…. ain't no trip to Cleveland.
And if you want to jump off even further, check out the gorgeous "Moonflower Plastic" by ex-GBV member Tobin Sprout.
My Boyfriend's Back is not actually a terrible movie, you can definitely see aspects of a much darker original script, and an early appearance by Philip Seymour Hoffman.
For me, it was the things that either I missed the first time or just didn't remember. I remembered the central conceit of Louie being stupid catchphrases being repeated ad nauseaum, but I didn't remember Ken Marino's hysterical, over-the-top Jackie Gleason-esque performance. Without that, the bit would not work…
This is true, I just find it odd that, despite all his work behind the camera, Jann's work in front of the camera is a couple of steps up from extra, and yet he shows up in the opening credits. But then again, Terry Gilliam wasn't a large acting presence in Python, but I wouldn't count him out as a member.
