And does it mention that Hugh Laurie is english?
and his father was a doctor?

Saw Heaven and Hell in 2007..
Dio rocked. He was a frontman as good as Freddie, Mick or Roger Daltrey. He knew the craft, and at something like 65, he could still sing fantastically. The Band swung like a hinge which had a fulcrum and swing on it… Fuck, this is sad.

To be honest, I only watched the first few episodes. I found them less than compelling: Steve Heisler's blogs didn't disabuse of this impression. Of course Steve Heisler's abuse of me will have me in therapy for years… but then, that's another story…

Could it be…
the audience, critics and bloggers who watched this show (all hundreds and thousands of them), who followed Buffy, Lost, the Wire and shows of great depth, who understood the memes and tropes of comic books and graphic novels, the deeper meanings of superhero mythology - could it be that, as per the

The middle: neil patrick flynn as the dad, in the type of nothing role he was (not) known for before he became the janitor in scrubs, and the hideous patricia heaton, who's shrewish harpie was never terribly funny and now has lost the support of such actors as Brad Garrett, Peter Boyle and the lady who played the mum

Ah, writers … 'we need to develop the characters. What woud they do?'

In defence of Russel…
Does he act like a dick sometime? Yes. Do we all? Yes. (except me).

Of course, the simpsons did this best…
but the question is: does the family deserve the money? or are they just gold digging? (My inclinations always go against the behemoth but will we lose Superman?)

It's really the undercooked first timers I'm railing at: King, Coens, Fellini, Kaufman, and the ohter examples brought up are exceptions. But most of them had lived before they were able to bring something to the 'writer with issues' table. And mostly they succeeded admirably. I haven't seen Hamlet 2, so I'll accept

Legend.
That is all.

Yet another film which 90% of the public can' relate to…
I'm sick of films about actors, writers, filmmakers: it's lazy writing. Go and get a job, you fuckers. Learn about the world! People ask me how to become a writer. I say 'Get something to write about. Then start …'. Few filmmakers/tv executives/novelists do this…

@dread guacamole: Mike Patton's not the only thing your mother will 'love', if you know what I'm saying…

I think the first poster on this thread has a point… as a result, I hate him/her, becasue I should have thought of it…

I think Hank would've approved. Not on Sunday morning, and he mightn't have listened to the music… but he would have approved….

I must ask…
Nabin: why do you keep pushing Buck Owens back? I mean, it's cool if you don't like him, but is he THAT bad? (I think he's great…)

I vote awesome. Keeping country alive. Them and alison krause - and even she is suspect…

Cosby.
Fresh Prince fo Bel Air
Good Times
Sanford and Son

I thought 4 chord song was really clever, except it misunderstands chord theory… but do listen to it…

Another thing I noticed…
He killed the audience. No literally, the lack of laughter suggests he actually murdered the audience - there's a few death rattles… but, ouch … I nearly felt sorry for the plagiasing prat of Patton.

Wasn't an attempt. I'd have posted the same thing at 1000 reasonable discussions… So, success remains mine.
