Bridge designed by Apple?
To boldly not go where no one has ever been before - sure, it looks pretty, but having worked on Macs, I get more problems on a Mac system than on any other. And then Macheads say 'Oh, it doesn't crash as much as Windas.' No, not as much. More. Not that Windows is perfect or even close to it,

but, Bruce Wayne is not a regular schmo - even without the wealth. I'm not sure that it does 'resonate with the suburban audience's inner longing for something exceptional' - I actually doubt such an inner longing exists…

Dawn inadvertently killing Joyce (because her brain can't handle the reprogramming), makes sense - cerebral haemorrage is natural - the Natuaral causes is important becuase it is NOT the Master (or Glory?) who killed Joyce - despite being the Slayer, life goes on - people get sick, people die, triumphs, tragedies……

Monsters' Inc ranks above Nemo and the Incredibles
It has much less of a 'suburban life - good' feel than the other 2 - when Mrs Incredible talks about getting the family together, I rolled my eyes - I've seen it a few times -it's by no means a bad film, but it's message of being exceptional is rather undermined by

that question about the mars trip?
Ray Bradbury.

Welcome to Sam Adams
Good review. Is he new? an intern? a (gasp) freelance? or Keith Phipps's errant nephew, eyeing off Nathan Rabin's job….

Schindler's List 2: Electric Boogaloo
'First he got them out. Now he gets them home''.

I don't like hip-hop
But I appreciated that column. thanks Nabin.

One of those guys who you don't really know who they are
but you kind of know the name - kind of - and they're always awesome. And then when you see a cast list, you realise again just how good they really are.

Last temptation - scorsese's best film. (Htough I haven't seen Raging bull, so am probably not qualified to comment - I love everything Scorsese's done (that I've seen), but LToC owns, man…

and yes, I didn't find it that hilarious, thogh I appreciated the humour in it. It' snot fair of course, to watch these things out of context. I wonder if he 'reads' better than he 'watches' - I chortled at some of the quotes above!
