Good list as always
But where's The Phantom?

You've all said it, but I'll say it again
What a nice man.

But, we probably would have stayed a Canadian bar Band (with an American Drummer) without getting together with Dylan..

Bill Murray
Is he the douche he seems to be (even disregarding the court case)? Discuss.

I love The Band, which came from Dylan, in a sense
But, like most of the posters here, so far, I don't get Dylan. Having looked at 'No Direction Home', though, I think Dylan doesn't believe his own bullshit - he tries to avoid it. Look at how he treats journalists who ask stupid questions.

But one he doesn't care about!!! Even worse!

Kind of agree with Nabin - being in Aus - never saw SNL, so I know Belushi through 'Animal House' and 'The Blues Brothers.' Don't care too much about the former - LOVE the latter. But, from my perspective, the two most important of his work. (SNL is probably better, but as I say, i can't comment). Anyhow - WOODWARD

Don't ask me how I got it, just know I did…

Oh, and the Odd Angry Shot was based on the experiences of the author of the novel. The movie is pretty close to the novel, so it is not made up. It captures, better than any other film, the long periods of boredom, as well as the sheer terror which broke the boredom up. Look again at the scene where they have to

The guys I know loved it, thinking it the only realistic war film made. I'm sure there are those that hate it…

best Vietnam movie
The Odd Angry Shot.

If I didn't already have a registered name
I'd make it 'Dave Foley's Flaccid Penis'.

Good list: mix of those I've heard of, and those I've not..
Just thought I'd weigh in befoe the 'eww, this list sucks' comments start.

A nice way of looking at it… hmmm…. will reconsider….

I thought she'd died long ago….
I'm not an obsessive fan (obviously), but her writing has a timeless quality and seems to have been around longer than it has. Great to see she's still working! (and I looked it up, she's 78)

But also Run, Joe, Run. They may have been the same show, actually, just in different packages.

Certainly people are free to disagree with it, but doesn't he point out (SPOILER ALERT!!!!) that the man remembering is the one man in the cast who DIDN"T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED: logical conundrum - he might have been told, of course, but to the level o detail? And why would it have been seen through the Captain's eyes,

Yes it was. H G Wells was a secret vigilante. ;-)

It was nice to see a little love
for War of the Worlds: exactly what I thought about Cruise = surely Tim Robbins would have been better (say), or Bruce Willis, but Cruise by no means diminishes the role (he doesn't grow it either)… One of the last good Cruise performances, or at least one of the last performances not

Saving Private Ryan's script
The script has problems: read William Goldman's devastating review - I think Google will find it (SPOILER ALERT, if you find it. (sigh)) I also found that Spielberg papered over the uneasy morality of war: is it immoral for the 'right' side to act immorally? Or does being 'right', or even
