No. 2 is well d0cumented: note it will not GIVE you schizophrenia, but if you have a genetic tendency, it can unlock the tendency. N0 3 I happily withdraw.

Hmmm…
Ok - what are the downsides of pot?
I have to take a moment to complement Nevins'
shouldn't that be compliment?
But you can have an extremely literate, well read student who cannot construct a sentence. You can then get someone who has never read a book construct a beautiful piece of writing. I phrased it poorly - teaching can unlock the talent - but if it's not there to be unlocked, you've got an uphill battle.
Terrible News
One of the greats. Too soon gone. Condolences to all involved, should they read this.
Back in my day, we didn't have the IMDB to discuss things - we had to discuss it with our clueless friends. WE'd see a film, and say things like, 'Is Julia louis-dreyfus any relation to Richard Dreyfus' - we didn't know, so we'd say she was his daughter. And that's how I invented the toasted sandwich.…
You cannot be taught to write well
You can improve, through comments, practice, good editing. But if you don't have 'IT', you won't get it.
And with cream at the end…
It looks a fascinating film. I shouldn't have commented, really, but given Sean's terrific review (a good review should make you engage with a film you haven't seen: well done Sean), I couldn't help it.

But I so want to…
Often, when I've praised Nabin for this stuff
I get flamed. But mailer has inspired me. I liked this. I thought Nabin did a good job. I think that's a good review. And anyone who disagrees with me better get used to the taste of their own teeth as they slide down their fucking throat!
Was 'I could Bang That: Using the Arthur J. Bangability Scale as a Mode of both increasing the entrenched patriarchy AND rating Hot Chicks', (Harvard University Press, 1905, reprinted 1906-2008); and its key chapter 'Hot or Not: Are you a Hottie or a Nottie'? (ghosted by Ima)
Dudes of the AV Club
The link to this (from the Charlie Daniels story) states that Tarantino won the Palme D'Or in 2004. The story is correct.
How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Forgot about the teeny-bopper stuff - though perhaps that shouldn't count… any way, we are in agreement that JLP was her best album.
Has anyone mentioned Alanis Morrisette?
After all, Jagged Little Pill was pretty good - the follow up (including lyrics such as 'thank you India?' -WTF? Just awful…
