Hot fuzz
Didn't the end go way way way too long? More than necessary I mean?

997
The greatest moment of AV Club commenting is upon us. It is Nigh! It is nigh!

I feel sorry for her
(sigh)…

Will we reach 1000?
Just wondering - This is, I think, no 958.

Odd interview
Not the questions, mind, but it takes the first page to warm into it, then after cricket (which he gets horribly wrong - it's Imran Khan, who's been retired for 10 years at least, and the Mickey Mantle of Cricket is Don Bradman…) it goes back to a kind of awkwardness.

'You wouldn't be dead for quids', by Robert Barrett; a thinly disguised Chuck Norris gets the shit kicked out of him - based on a true happening…

Not that we're BITTER!
Brokeback didn't win an Oscar. Ok. Yes, it was a good film, and i haven't seen Crash. But geez: the academy is filled with shit that no-one will ever watch again. Once Helen Hunt (HELEN HUNT!) won best actress over Judi Dench and 4 others, it was game over.

Hey! Where's my first comment?
In which I comment that the Doobies aren't prog rock…

Are te Doobies Prog?
there's a couple of bands who aren't Prog - even Tull (the great) had moved beyond that by the Beasts and Broadswords album.

It was better when it worked with Arial
Its solo stuff has been patchy.

Where would Hitch-hikers' Guide fit?
After Arthur Dent is an Earthman, but he is the only one left; having said that, that could be any of us. Don't worry.

Why haven't more commented?
It's kinda nice - we haven't gone to 'you hipster douchebag', but this topic deserves more discussion: for example, Adaptation is another film which is about the writing of a book, though, of course, it is more fictionalised.

What happened to Tarantino?
From Reservoir Dogs, to Pulp Fiction, to Jackie Brown. Three terrific films. Then Kill Bill. Then Death Proof…

I've done firsties. It was good while it lasted, but not worth repeating.

Good list
Well done.

I wonder i Dan Savage would interview her
That too would be somehting.

Hence, James Brown (for example) never made as much money as he might, let alone Bo Diddley.

I feel for all of us…

Or am I stoned?

Stand corrected, but it's still pretty close. Nevertheless, as I sort of stated, my criticism is petty and unfair, and I loved this series. But yes. Stand corrected.
