I do too, except I hear the stupid original version on the radio, and then hear the five-person-one guitar version in my head, and then immediately get Peter Gabriel stuck in my head for the next hour…
because, you know, I'm a crazy person…

For some reason, finding out I'm slightly older than the guy who does the BtAS write-ups made me feel kinda lousy… finding out I'm older than Yee Yee, not so much…

I can't second this enough, I went to school with the guy, and will leave it ts that so as to not be the douche who's like "I knew him before he was cool" but yeah, he's great, I'm always happy to see how much success he's having.

So I'm the only one who hasn't forgotten the Borderlands review… I'm appalled by you people…

I won't argue with you there. the thing that still stands out to me is I lucked into getting to see Common rider once, and that dude must have hung out to talk with every single damn op ivy loving kid in that place for probably near an hour, I mean, really, he's just one of the nicest guys in the scene. Now I'll shut

dammit… not a firstie attempt by the way, I swear…

Just wanted to try to be the first to say how incredibly excited I am for Classics of Love. Was really sorry to see Common Rider fizzle out like a week after they started touring (but not surprised) and really glad to see Michaels still doing great stuff as always.

Yeah, I'm in a (4 piece) band with a buncha deadbeats so I Own 90% of our gear. I'm pretty sure that adds up to about $1500, maybe $2000 if I was really trying to rip somebody off…

I'd normally Agree, but if he's in Pasadena, he very well might have been in Slaw Dogs, which may just be the best hot dog establishment, ever…

I'm gonna go ahead and say… nope… but that's just me. to derail things completely though… was anybody else here lucky enough to see the "reunion" a few weeks back at GV30? Bragging is message boards are for, right?

Kill from the Heart. Will have to look for the Alternative Tentacles comp… oddly enough, I'm pretty sure surfing the AT website as a stupid teenager was probably how I found out about the dicks in the first place…

Yeah, it was the 5 song ep, Omega Sessions (that's what it was called right? god my memory is awful) that got me into em. Probably where the difference comes from…

Eh different strokes for different folks I guess. Or maybe I should give the record another spin and not just keep skipping back to my favorite song over and over again…

Yeah, I really love that Bad Brains live record too, but I can see the point in saying they aren't really an "SST" band… I know I've never associated the two together

Wow… I had completely forgotten about the Dicks…I mean, they're kinda terrible, but if there's a more rocking song than "Rich Daddy", I haven't heard it…

Just want to add myself to the chorus of SLF love. Since there seems to be less punk on these things every month (doesn't make me love the feature any less by the way) I'm glad Jason keeps giving us good retro picks to guide us through these dark, dark days…

I have no problem admitting I always got a thrill when they'd mention all the crappy parts of CA I grew up in…

I saw the Business stick about fifteen minutes of soloing at the end of Drinking and Driving during a set where Fitz got in a fight with one of the bouncers. Give em at least a little more credit. The guys can play good when they feel like it…

Eh, the suns shining, I can't complain! You threw cocksparrer and cockney rejects in there, so unfortunately, I can't even sound cool and point out somebody that you missed… though actually, I always thought Angelic Upstarts were Oi… I mean, fat dudes in bomber jackets, come on!

Dammit Heller! I swore I was never going to register and then you had to go and do this awesome Oi rundown and force my hand. Made my day to see one of my favorite bands ever (and the only dudes bad enough to get my creaky knees into a pit anymore) as the gateway! good stuff as always!
