I liked Dark Page. Pretty well any Troi episode where she doesn't have a stupid romatantic plot. And I think we've covered all three of them now.

DS9 was a good example of how to properly build a spin-off. Look at some ideas that were thrown out there during the previous series and run with them.

(SPOILERS) - (I guess we're doing this now?)

Thing is she and Picard already had their "more than friends, more than family" relationship before Time's Arrow. Yet Picard didn't know about 1890s San Francisco yet.
What I'm thinking is they met in the 1890s, then had their real special relationship in the mid 24th Century, like she sought him out then or something.

A lot of this debate could have been avoided if they'd separated the ship more often, like before they fly into the Neutral Zone or into an asteroid or such and such.

We see her again
That Christy girl actually makes a brief appearance in "Transfigurations" when that guy with the melty face and amnesia in the white unitard gives Geordi a shot of confidence.

Not exactly the best episode, but TNG's "Liaisons" :

The thing that got me about season 5 was the long run of shows without any of the A-list antagonists. Totally a judgment call, but I'd go with Romulans, the Borg, Q, Klingons, and the Cardassians (at least for seasons 6 & 7).

"Hurry Charlie! There is not much time!"

Ben the Waiter from Lower Decks is definitely TNG's Roy.

The animal chain of command goes mouse, cat, Okona.

Yes, I definitely look forward to these each week. Thanks.

Troi should stop dressing that way. She'll get raped by a pack of Ferengi.

It's actually weird just how far the production values shoot up between 2 and 3. The improvements between 2 and 3 make it look like it's almost not even the same show.

I recall an episode of DS9 where they were working with Gul Dukat and he said his standard strategy would be to take out their bridge.

Weird, I just saw Starship Mine too. Picard at his most badass.

On the subject of hilarious takes by Picard, this episode has two of my favourite facial expressions of all time in the series- First Picard trying to deal with Mr. Homn downing the entire bottle he brought to dinner.
The second is the grin Riker has here when Deanna's talking about Betazoid sex drive.

With the Cardassian Occupation, in "Ensign Ro" they were talking about it being ongoing, and that was about a year before DS9 started. I always got the impression that Starfleet moved into DS9 within days of the Cardassians leaving.

The novel was Vendetta, which portrayed the Planet Killer as a weapon designed to fight the Borg.

I do remember that when it first aired, but I thought on repeats they moved it to the usual spot.
