Great episode! Even though I'm not a fan of the character, I'm surprised Bob didn't make an appearance (Chris Kattan wasn't available, perhaps?)

I wonder if Charlie McDermott's limited screen time for this episode was intentional to make the audience, like Mike and Frankie, feel his absence… did anyone else find yourself thinking there wasn't enough Axl in this episode?

Brad: Sue, we don't have a crossing guard.

B minus???!! I'm done with these "reviews". Sigh.

DYESSSS-NUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

yes i do
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold without our straitjackets, isn't it??

Well, it was written by Jana Hunter & Mitch Hunter. Lest I'm mistaken, Jana's a woman. Chill, Vicks. Go to your happy place.

I liked the episode very much too, although I'm hoping Sue and Darrin's breakup is only temporary. One thing I really liked was the number of callbacks to previous episodes: the Social Group (while, I agree, better in small doses!); Frankie's time as a car salesperson; the church van, still in their driveway, and

I love that every time she said "and so on and so forth and what have you", Eden Sher delivered it differently, with increasingly levels of panic. Wonderful, wonderful actress.

Goddamn it, GoddamnBusiness, you're right!! *doh**!!!

Just wanted to add - though you're right, it would've been cool if there had been a line where Sue acknowledged she's a Feb 29 birthday baby, to reference last year's episode.

Well, Sue was 13 in Season 1, so it adds up that she's 16 in Season 4. I'm assuming she celebrates her birthday on the 28th (and this episode aired on the 27th, so that's pretty cool timing!). Last year was a big deal because it was her ACTUAL leap year birthday, but the assumption, again, is that she would've turned

Mike: "What happened to Brad? I liked it when Sue was dating Brad."

I would've titled this episode "The Elephant In The Room".

Nothing to do with the storyline this week, but I was surprised that Kevin Sussman has been demoted from recurring series regular back to guest star. I guess they didn't have as many ideas on what to do with his character as they'd originally thought…

Actually, the sign in Mike's trailer started off with 3-1/2 days … and then the following scene (the next day?) it was 2-1/2. Love the attention to detail.

B+ to the episode. D for the review. That is all.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned French Stewart as the school principal! :D

Good lord, C- ?? This episode was so funny, I immediately watched it a second time and enjoyed it even more when I caught jokes that I'd missed the first time around!! Time for a new reviewer, it seems…
