It's hard to respect someone's opinion when they are being smarmy about it (even if you agree), but I'll be goddamned if I don't agree with that smarmy bastard about 99% of the time.
I agree with this whole-heartedly, but it doesn't bother me in the least. The opposite criticism is levied at many primarily male written sitcoms, and it's also a justifiable criticism. It's hard for men to write believable or deep female characters and vice versa because we just can't have the others perspective.
