Go watch Faults. She's excellent and it's a quality flick.

No, Resurrection was based on a book called The Returned which is unrelated to the French TV series The Returned which was based on the French movie They Came Back.

I usually watch both, remakes are fun especially if they actually take what's good from the original and take it in a different direction. It's also exceptionally rare for them to turn out well.

Pretty sure that's true for anybody that has been in two remakes, it's rare for them to actually be as good as or better than the original. However, in this case, it doesn't really apply since The Thing from 2011 was a prequel rather than an actual remake.

After reading the comments, I'm amazed this has an A- average. I thought it was a good episode, Carol doesn't bother me nearly as much as she seems to bug others.

This could have been better. It's almost like they did it "This episode will write itself" style and it just felt like a lot of lost potential.

Her dad had just spent a month in the Keys and had a pretty nice car.
