Acting is really top shelf
Compared to other HBO series, The Sopranos, The Wire, Treme, etc. each has moments of bad acting that totally takes you out of the show. I think for the most part the acting has been at least pretty good and often great. Must be all of that Shakespeare training. The writing def helps too.
