Of course the French have a name for it: L’appel du vide

I'm writing a thesis paper right now, and I haven't been able to do shit while I'm at home. My best arguments are always written just as you described- hopped up on Dunkin Donuts, in short bursts in between menial tasks.

Guess it's just mine who's an asshole, then. I love him, and he's my cat and all, but man he's a jerk.

You know what I've noticed? I get my best writing done when I'm bored stiff working in an office!

My cat got used to the water bottle! I resorted to a small plastic container full of nickels that I shake really hard. He hates loud noises, so that usually stops it.

I've never met a Maine Coon that wasn't awesome.

Dash! I love it so much I might steal it.

I don't think I'd get a male kitten ever again. My cat is the first male cat I've ever owned, and he was an absolute terror as a kitten. He's mellowed out considerably, but I'd say it took him a good 6-7 years to get there.

I saw the CUTEST cat in a bodega this morning. Good god, I was ready to stick her in my purse and take her to work with me.

Ah, a CD! Yes, I would imagine old cd's are hard to come by these days.

What a coincidence! Now I can't get the song out of my head.

My favorite version of Atlantic City is on his Mtv Unplugged album. Powerful stuff.

This shuffle is a roaring freight train to my heart.

Del ain't never lied!

Sham 69 LOL. Reminds me of high school- singing "When the Kids are United" very loudly at prom.

Ah, Throwing Muses!

When your music is good, it's really really good. When it's bad…oh boy.

Bruce Springsteen- "Human Touch"
Yo La Tengo- "Song for Mahila"
James Brown- "Maybe the Last Time"
Junip- "Your Life Your Call"
Ted Leo- "Sixth Months in a Leaky Boat"(Split Enz cover)
The Walkmen- "This Job Is Killing Me"
Pixies- "Break My Body"
Jonathan Richman and The Modern Lovers- "Girlfriend"
Dave Von Ronk- "Green,

What is Thor's favorite underwear?

Is it really out of print? I see that album often in thrift store record bins.
