I get so much crap! Mostly from my husband, but he listens to The Killers so who is he to judge.

It kills me that I actually knew this. A great bit of movie trivia.

I'm so glad this article exists. I'm sick and fucking tired of defending my love for INXS.

This and Mara Wilson's "Mad World" hate could nearly redeem this feature.

My dad and stepmom moved there in 2007. My stepmom has family ties to the city and spent a good deal of her childhood there, but they fell back in love with it after doing some volunteer work post-Katrina. I'm completely charmed by it, but I just don't think I could live there. I do love to visit, though.

I have a deep conditioner, but my stylist said to be wary of them because they can cause the dye to fade and make my hair brassy. I use the leave-in argan oil while my hair is wet and then again right after I finish styling it. That seems to help with the dryness.

Bloodhound Gang's "Bad Touch"

What ever you do, don't try to hide it if you do lose your hair. It seems to make it even MORE obvious.

My aunt used Rogaine for years after losing a fair amount of hair during radiation treatments. She swears by it.

I wash my hair every 6 days, give or take a couple of days. I've got a lot of hair on my head, and ever since I've bleached it it's been even more dry than usual.

You can also use baby powder, but a little goes a long way.

The new Screaming Females, mostly. Going to see them when the come through New Orleans while I'm on vacation there next month.

Mostly weed, yes. I would have to agree with you there.

Murakami seems to have such fun coming up with this off-the-wall stuff. I envy his originality.

Yes and I KNOW, RIGHT? It was not a good look.

Not lyrics, actually, but a song title.

I'm super busy, but I'm not feeling overwhelmed. The classes I'm taking take up a good chunk of my time, but I feel confident and challenged by my classwork. I'm kind of kicking ass at work, such as it is.

I have a large, intricate maze that takes up most of my right shoulder blade. Just when I typed this, I looked over one of my shoulders to remember where it was. I kind of forget about it until someone asks. It desperately needs touching up, so I probably should remember it's there more often.

Sly? Turbo Motown at its finest!
