The smaller fish are supposed to be less oily; the ones that are less than a foot long. Once bluefish get over a certain size the flesh becomes almost black with oil, which….ugh. The filets we had were pretty good, and I would definitely eat it again. I find white fish incredibly bland, so I don't mind it being gamier…

-My mom's birthday was last weekend, so I went to a an Italian grocery to pick up the following:
Fancy-ass balsamic vinegar
Red chili olive oil
Jar of stuffed artichoke hearts
Some sort of dense fig and nut cake that accompanies wine and cheese
A ball of smoked mozzarella

I've got to say, there are lots of people here who have been to absolutely horrible weddings that put any of the "bad" ones I've been to to shame. The worst wedding I've ever been to was on a Friday morning with a cash bar and no one was dancing except for the young girls they hired to do an Irish step-dancing…

Look out for the dreaded Last Minute Requests! Two weeks before my wedding last year was about the time everyone felt like being judgmental, demanding jerks to my husband and I. It was bizarre.

That is very nearly what happened at our wedding. We told people to be at the wedding early because the ceremony would begin at 5:00PM SHARP.

I don't know what his problem is with New England, but he hasn't played in Boston in a very long time. I jumped so far to get tickets that I joined his fucking fan club just so I could get a couple of pre-sale tickets at face value. That being said, I did get 5th row seats, so I'm pretty happy about my decision.

I don't think it was outright misogyny on Budge and Pepper's part, but think the show was trying to make a point about the subtle, ingrained sexism of law enforcement. After everything that Molly has had to put put up with in this case, I think it's a fair point to make.
