Excerpted from The Lizard Went Over the Mountain: Cardassian Combat Tactics on Bajor, Kira Nerys (ed.), Starfleet Tactical College Press, 2380.

She'll always be 'The Major' to me. Well, her and Motoko Kusanagi.

A toast - To life, to death, to resurrection!

In fairness, since the Romulans are allies, they could perhaps loan cloaking devices for new Defiants, for the duration of the war… but I'm not sure they would.

And? Wouldn't that make them that much more motivated to target the enemy's root beer?

Upvote for Ubesian, though I believe the proper descriptor is Ubese.

YOU WILL BE MY SPOILERS
One thing I particularly like about it is that at first, Kira's basically just there on assignment, giving mostly tactical advice - but winds up getting caught up in it, making it her cause, and turning a mutiny into a proper revolution.

Perhaps something with the Winn/Dukat arc?

How many Breen died to give you that information?

NOT AVAILABLE INSIDE YOUR BRAIN

USS SPOILERS
Also, does it have a cloak?

I thought it was explicit that the Breen raid was conducted for the sake of hurting Federation morale.

My dear, stick to waitressing; I'm afraid you'll never have a career as a Flirty Cardassian Military Historian, as your flawed assessment of the Cardassian military shows. If, however, you do wish to further your education, I'll be happy to accept your comm frequency. Oh, we can discuss it here, but the topic is far

'me could pull some strings'
You always did have a way with words. And cookies.

It's even mentioned in-episode - the casualty figures don't matter, striking at the heart of the Federation does (and was thus worth the loss of almost the entire Breen strike force).

Making O'Brien an LT, rather than, say, a Master Chief [Petty Officer]? Miles works for a living!

NOT AVAILABLE IN A BAJORAN UNIFORM

I thought the Kzinti themselves actually did slip into Trek, via the Animated Series? (Which, admittedly, is technically not 'canon,' and which would possibly mean paying royalties to Niven for their further use, but still…)

Hadar? As in the group that's always following Jem?
