POI has done okay. The move to Tuesdays this year did damage and it dropped 21% vs. last year. But it was still higher rated than CBS' other 9 p.m. shows, including Elementary, so suddenly that makes it a winner. It stumbled, but it stumbled less than the others and in a harder position, which makes it safe for now.

Unforgettable got renewed as a summer series, which has different standards then the regular broadcast year. CBS has been bolstered by the unexpected success of Under the Dome and is increasingly looking to build up a summer roster.

Except neither overall viewers nor L+7 matter to advertisers and therefore don't impact cancellation/renewal decisions, despite what their press releases want you to believe.
