AV Club policy is to grade shows based on their potential. That's how we grade pilots, theoretically.
To be fair, Sue Vertue is Stephen Moffat's wife. I think they might discuss it over dinner, or something.

I barely even remember Louis from the competition proper. It's very interesting to think he might come back.
I forgot to mention this. They really were great. And Emeril's investment in the success of the program was also really sweet.

For the record, I liked Matthew and Mary a lot when they were together. But Mary has chemistry with Tom Cullen's character, too.
It's my favorite Alan Rickman role. The death scene? The wedding scene? The "it's dull you twit, it'll hurt more!" Swoon.
