IIRC someone she knows is taking two bikes to the dump, but she takes them because motorbikes are dangerous and she can summon a mental finger-wag from GlitterBoy. It gives an opportunity for the Jacob/Bella relationship to grow, because y'know, Jacob is poah so knows how to fix things, and he builds the bikes.
