Last year my reading them was the Year of Dead White Male European Authors. My favorites were:

It's something one can't FAIL to notice.

Perhaps IS saw a Disappointing Show.

I went into Hot Topic in July with a bunch of Harry Potter fans to mock the Twilight product tie-ins. Heh.

I was hoping for a Woo, myself. Or maybe a Wiiiiiii!

Except for the tacked on happy ending. *shudders* Anjelica Huston was a perfect Grand High Witch, though.

Failed lasties?

Repaid, repaid with CancerAIDS.

I much prefer The Magic Mount to Head in Venice, myself.

"Fox in Socks" five times fast.

Live with CancerAIDS.

The Princess and the Green Door?

Paul, I think you're right. Just got back. And OMG was the Farley Barleywine amazing or what? Gadzooks, I fangirl Jeff Bagby!

Stone is solid (Double Bastard and Levitation are great beers), but their output hasn't been nearly as innovative as it was while Lee Chase was their head brewer. If they weren't putting out such nice collaboration beers, I'd accuse them of resting on their laurels.

Mmm. St Bernardus.

Those aren't pillows.

Ditto, IWBD. Also "base popery." Why oh why can't we persecute Christian denominations anymore?

Llama, sounds delicious! I don't brew yet but am saving up for the equipment. I live in the land of Lost Abbey, so I'm a fan of rich cherry beer. I imagine the Dr. Pepper-ey esters bring out the cherry beautifully.
