Walden may not be a mustache twirler but he's played by the same guy who played Flagg in The Stand miniseries.  Also I guess that makes David Estes like Lloyd!  Is Walden he the go-to man for wink-and-nod power and corruption—has that guy every played, say, a starry eyed greenpeace activist?

The grossly engorged walker that Rick found in the prison had just feasted on Lori's body, which Rick apparently confirms by finding a leftover tooth (?) of Lori's on the floor.  He tears apart the twice dead zombie's guts to find whatever's left of Lori.  On another note, this show is kind of disgusting.  Smarter

she isn't, at least intentionally.  But their scenes together all carry an almost ripe vibe of danger and unease—b/c Lori's constantly terrified Shane will rape her and Shane is quite aware of her fear, but (dementedly) sees it as flirting.

Since this show is already succeeding at making its whole cast at either forgettable, annoying or both, I say it should take it all the way.  Anytime rick is onscreen he's either all confused simpleton or unkillable avenger.  Glen's diseased conscience begins to seek Annie's (?) debasement a la Breaking the Waves.

And it turns out that our deeply southern and biblical patriarch had an alcoholic youth that he quit cold turkey the day his (step?) infant daughter was born.  Probably also owes his good advice on car repair to a moonshinin' and drag racin' past that he quit the day he ran over his infant daughter, or his talent for

The missing link between Zalman King and Ben Gazzarra…is Harlan Ellison.  From his (sort of) site:
