That was a great line by Don. So cold and reminiscent of how he treated Pete back in Season 1.

After reading all five books, I'm not sure I agree Jamie is "a pretty awful person."
I didn't look much like Safer Sex Night despite the name of the party. It looked more like the basement of the Masonic Temple or one of the houses along E. Lorain or N. Pleasant.
The Obie in me is fake-sad that you have never heard of Oberlin and somehow read the TV club. :'-( -5 hipster cred
I'm starting to wonder if not-Jeyne is actually Jeyne somehow, what with them headed to the Crag.
Three pages of comments and no one drops the word "senior." I'd rather see it end logically after four seasons than be extended to a fifth, frankly. Let's hope they get the full order and wrap this sucker up in style.
Yes, but I'm not sure how it fits with the plot currently developing in the books.
"Over in Qarth, which is several time zones away, it’s still daylight when it’s night in Westeros, which is how the episode can end with the full-day Dany scene."
@avclub-23e846638607adcbc730817a77581220:disqus Anyone who would cut their copy of St. Pepper do remove the groundbreaking "Within You, Without You" to get cut to the pop-cheeky Hollywood doofiness of "When I'm Sixty-Four" has no taste.
What happened to last week's female co-reviewer? I am sort of interested in reading a woman's perspective on this show. As an upper-middle class unemployed white guy in his mid-twenties, I'd like to hear how accurately this reflects the lives of my female peers.
There's a difference between intelligence and pretension, and Todd is certainly more than capable of the former. My complaint was that sometimes I feel his reviews lean toward the latter.
Does she speak eloquently, and would she have your baby?
Argh. Sometimes you lay it on way too thick, Todd. Here and with the GoT interviews. I realize it's your job as a critic to try to see the Big Picture, but the way you overdo it on these breakdowns makes my teeth hurt.
Was it just me, or did the person who did the narration also do the intros for the Clerks cartoon?
Loved Marshall's "DO NOT WANT" moment!
@avclub-a02b31e615fdb0ca3dbb5ca5408da418:disqus is the only one who's got it right.
No, I don't recommend that at all.
I've got to say I'm surprised they're killing of Rakharo and writing out Jacelyn Bywater while keeping Lommy Greenhands.
@Sunspear:disqus The people guarding Melisandre in ADWD are shitty leftover King's Men. I just read the Melisandre chapter recently. She has Devan and a handful of too-young, too-old, and injured King's Men.
Yes. It's also implied in a Davos chapter that her fucking has sapped Stannis of all his strength, and that she considered fucking Davos as well as a replacement. In ADWD she seems to want to fuck Jon Snow.
