THERE IS NO ESCAPE THIS TIME!

Just finished the season.

@TTTWLAM:disqus What are you talking about?  The entire comic plotline with Tyrese and his daughter and her boyfriend… the entire point of that story was that people could rise again without being bitten.

Nikki-and-Paulo-style!

SPOILERS:

Joshua, I am going to agree with others above and point out that there was no changing newspaper image.  There are two stands next to one another. One is white, the other is red.

Even with the reveal that Gellar was a college professor, I am still very much convinced that he is a figment of Travis's imagination.  Either Gellar is dead, or off somewhere being a relatively normal human being.

If the images of Hershel et al. at the farm are any indicator, this show is about to at least partially get back on the storyline as presented in the comics.

I think the epilogue of LOST suitably wrapped up Walt's story.  I was fine with that.

Bzzt. Wrong answer. That's what the kids call "epic fail."

I actually liked it.

@haysoos Tony Soprano.

My mood lifted as the episode progressed…
I gotta say, they really ratcheted up the tension pretty quickly. Where last week I had no idea where this was going, now we've got at least three possible major threats in Nancy's cellmate, Silas's competition, and now the Feds.

What does strike me as strange, Miles, is that this season has no sense of finality if it indeed is to be the last. Romany Malco indicated this is definitely the last season, but he's not on the inside. Nealon said last season that he was sure the show would only last through six or maybe seven seasons.

Respectfully Disagree
I actually thought this was one of the strongest episodes in years, Myles.

Sorry, Gorge, but if you think that Tosh plays as more serious than Wonder Showzen, that's only because Wonder Showzen does it with puppets.

Just Wanted to Add
I know this is a drop-in review, but if there's any counterpoint to "Every joke on Tosh.0 is there to make Tosh look good," its the skit where he allows Manny Pacquiao to punch him full force in the face for no good reason.

@kjohnson1585

I don't believe for a second that Tosh's fake gay persona is intended to disparage the gay community in the same way that "gay panic" humor amongst "frat boys" does. In fact I'd argue that by-and-large, Tosh says fewer mean-spirited homophobic jokes than sexist and racist ones.
