I'm checking out some hot, sexy MACTION. Everything else is just passing time…

Fun fact: I live less than a mile from the University of Tulsa.

Only 5'2''. I live in heels.

Those early 90's Braves teams were fun to watch (Otis Nixon, Terry Pendleton, Sid Bream era) but I'm a Cubs fan for life.

1. a. Sports fan. The main reason for my myriad TV and film blind spots - to the great irritation of my best friend, who hates sports. It started as a youngster with MLB as a way to bond with my father, then in my early teens I fell in love with college basketball, followed by NBA. College football didn't click until

"The human mind is like Van Halen: If you keep pulling out one piece and replacing it, it degenerates.”

Just read these out loud at work, and now everyone's super grossed out. (Posers. They all totally know they're ordering that Krispy Kreme hamburger at our state fair next month)

What a handsome little devil! I like that shock of white on his neck and belly. And good on ya for saving him from that shelter.

In the rain and on the road! That's gotta be sweet. Your coach made me giggle, dancing and waving his playsheet around after that final TD. Great stuff.

A potential Heisman candidate in your building? We're going to need all the gossip you come by on this Mr. Diggs. And agreed about the lack of balanced schedules. FFS, Alabama doesn't even have to play SC or UGA in the regular season.

Go-Go Gadget arm! And he hung on to the ball while getting dumptrucked down. Nice.

You're right, Eric. The Big 12 looked good as gone by that time. Frankly, A&M always seemed like a better fit in the SEC (crowd size, tradition, etc) but the irrational little OklaTexan in me remains bitter!

Agreed, that proposal was incredibly sweet and unexpected. And the Zebrie Sanders moment is too funny — did he forget where he was?

Wow, quite a quarter for FSU! What a shame to end in a tie, but I see you guys had the final word a few weeks later. Those kinds of videos are right up my alley, especially with that epic sounding music. Loved Colzie's own teammates tackling him after that INT. God, if we ever did that to OU, half the stadium would

I like Kevin Sumlin, but I was just as eager as anyone to dogpile on A&M for bolting to the SEC. I grew up hearing awesome stories of their traditions from my mother, who went to A&M games regularly in the seventies, so their leaving carries an extra smack of betrayal for me.

The Tide actually have a decent shot at a sweet, sweet early season loss — playing at Texas A&M on 9/14.

So, college football kicks off this week (SQUEEEEEE!!!!!) and although it has its share of issues (BCS, etc) I enjoy it for the players and school rivalries. Share your favorite plays/moments too, if you wish.

Agreed. Simon Pegg is one foxy fella. I'd like to slap those buns on the grill!

I wish!  I'm surprised The World's End is actually showing in my neck of the woods Saturday night. Going to see it with some hardcore fans, though, so it should be fun.

Oh wow, I'd forgotten the Pine Tar game was in '83. I remember to this day my father cheering Brett on as he tore out of the dugout and him yelling at the TV "they're trying to take away his bread and butter!"
