I was in elementary school, sporting those jellies sandals with ankle socks (hottttt!) and about thirty jelly bracelets all stacked up my arm. Probably had one of them off, chewing on it. I was a little weirdo.

Good series - brings up many memories of that time. Probably my biggest musical regret in life is missing an opportunity to see Nirvana live, so it was nice to (jealously) read about your experience pre-Nevermind.

I'm jealous! There are no stores where I live, so I almost cried the first time I saw one. A waffle cone full of "Half Baked" is better than almost everything else in life…

The Off Hours looks good.

Those are good ones. The Aveda color protection shampoo and conditioner smell amazing, too. I must spend half a groggy morning shower sniffing those bottles.

Present! The boys are back in town, and on the practice field, this very day. Super excited for this season, as the ol' alma mater is preseason conference favorite - which hasn't happened in, oh, EVER.

Pass the fiber! (Well, that came out wrong.)

Hey Roobles, looks like you're the only one with Fruitvale Station for Best Picture. I've been wanting to see it. What makes it your favorite?

"The fact that the man uses the ticket kiosk to avoid talking to theater employees…"
I think this guy actually is me. Going solo to movies on weekdays is one of the best, most relaxing little joys in life.

Thanks Affro, this looks like a good, active fan site for discussion of both Buffy and Angel. I like it!

Thank you!  Slayage is great. Though the links aren't updated, the article listings are broken down by discipline — so it's easy to find items of interest and head to their respective journal.

I agree, Noel did a fine job with his reviews here.

This is awesome, thanks! I'm loving the "Philosophies Represented on BTVS and ATS" page.

Wrapped up my first run through BTVS last night with "End of Days" and "Chosen."

Beautiful! You've connected both monologues in such a perfect, emotionally resonant way.

Shinigami, I LOVE everything you have to say here about Abed. I can't wait to read the rest of your thoughts on this episode.

*high-fives PaNoire*  Way to go!!!  Next week is the big 3-0!

Why thank you, good sir! They arrived this very morning and are scrummy, indeed. Never knew ol' Arnie dabbled in the frozen treat racket.

Your Evil Abed is my favorite! Sunglasses, carrying a bone saw, popping a little girl's balloon with his lit cigarette. Sublime.
