That doesn't make sense because everyone knows fish don't have feelings.

Thanks veterans. Or whoever.

The Honey, I… series ought not be on this list. Obviously any self-respecting scientist is going to keep experimenting even after shrinking his kids. Experimenting is what scientists do!

Best Show reference?

You know how in the 80s Bill Murray epitomized a certain wisecracking, roguish, devil-may-care, authority-disrespectin', stickin'-up-for-the-underdog type? He was undeniably great, because he was charismatic and naturally talented… But at the same time he opened the door for hordes of Bill Murray wannabes with no

To be fair, "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang also packed your cousin's wedding's dance floor.

The director's cut of Aliens 3 is the best Chronicles of Riddick movie ever made, especially since Vin Diesel isn't in it. But it's a piss-poor follow up to Aliens.

A key difference between me and Neo is, when a bald dude with mirrored shades and a leather trenchcoat offers me a choice of pills that have been in his sweaty hands for Lord knows how long, I just politely decline.

I'm 100% on board with Mad Men, so don't get me wrong, but I have always thought it would be a better show without any of the the Dick Whitman stuff.

Le Tigre is entry-level if you're maybe 27-35 or so. This is a 14 year old song and while they have a big following they're not exactly The White Stripes. I wouldn't expect a 20 year old today to know about it.

I have the feeling the kids who are under constant supervision now and who wouldn't be left alone at 13 tend to be the children of a certain demographic. Get out of that bubble and I think you're going to see a lot more kids fending for themselves just like the good ol' days.

Get yourself to a google and look up "deadly Australian animals", son. Start with a little something called the Box Jellyfish and go from there. Australia is full of really, really nasty critters.

Carrie Brownstein's Amex commercial made me really sad…It was way more Tracey Ullman than Portlandia. It's also one of those things where someone who seemed untouchably cool is slumming in a way they might not recover from.

He's probably closer to Darrell Hammond. Which I consider still a compliment but others might not.

I wouldn't get so bogged down in the math, as much as that ties into your 13-year old D&D nerd's obessive-compulsions. I'm pretty sure they'll make it fit.

Her?
Hodor?

They're talented and funny people and I like them in other stuff, when I've seen them at UCB, etc.

It is a fruit… A low-hanging one.

Yeah I pretty much agree here. He's also not looking at the suburbs of 2013, or even the 1980s/1990s— Blue Velvet was a period piece set some 25+ years before 1986, Twin Peaks was more or less timeless, kind of a Happy Days-esque mix of the late 80s/early 90s and the vague 50s and 60s.
