I stuck with this show throughout its first season, and while the quality was a little erratic, I have faith it will improve in Season 2.

I remember buying this game just for the Halo 3 beta. I wound up playing Crackdown waaaaay more than I ever played Halo 3. That's how much fun this game was.

This album is so good that if you told me you thought it was their best record, I would completely understand.

Met Bill Walton briefly at GD50. The nicest (and tallest) guy I've ever met. Dude lives the fuckin' life. Gets to be an NBA champion and see amazing live music.

Because the show isn't all yelling if you watch it for more than two seconds. It's a fascinating sociological experiment filled with great jokes. This is what real New Yorkers are like. Where else would you find a show that includes a stranger answering if they're a squirter?

Top 15!

I see your Top 5 and raise you TOP 10 (seriously though there's too much music for me to limit it to 5):

I want next season to be set in the 1870s and be a spiritual successor to Deadwood by way of Noah Hawley.

This is a preposterously small detail but I feel it warrants a comment
for this thread. There's a tiny scene in the episode "Tina-Rannosaurus
Wrecks" where Tina goes into Bob and Linda's bedroom, and then Louise
and Gene hear her and come running inside. Louise and Gene hop on the
bed and chat with Bob and Linda.

Hello. I have yet to watch the 1st season of this show. Can I watch this new one (since it's an anthology) or should I binge watch the 1st season first? Thank you for indulging my dumb question.

"Everybody on Veep talks too fast. I'm switching it to Big Bang."

"I'd stick my dick in a bowl of pasta."

Probably Amazon, who owns the streaming rights.

Well, I no longer have any reason to watch NBC.

That's a great way to put it - they're completely subject to the reverse. Never thought of it that way. Which studio versions are superior to their live takes? Very few.

"Everything the Grateful Dead and Phish Have Ever Done" would have also sufficed.

Belle and Sebastian recorded a live performance of If You're Feeling Sinister (entitled Live at The Barbican) that is far superior to the studio album in every possible way. Lush instrumentation, string and horn section, gorgeous arrangements. Amazing stuff.

I remember listening to that commentary years ago, and he's just shitting all over the scenes where Tony and Carmela fight (which are actually phenomenal scenes.) He said something to the effect of "Eh, this is OK. Arthur Miller would have done it better."
