"This is actually great. I don't see anything to make fun of yet!"

God, I loved Carl.

I liked Zeke's line about genuinely enjoying it and there not being anything to make fun of yet.

Teddy accidentally slapping Linda got a barking laugh out of me.

I really did love that character. The way she drank that iced latte was…perfect.

Also "these Charlie Brown cheeks…"

Loved the callback to "Rockin' Like A Dinosaur" playing in Scott's daughter's headphones.

Maria, Me, And A Monster or nothing:

It was all glorious.

Holy shit @ Neil Campbell's pissed off face when Andrew Rannells started singing. I was losing it.

"I don't understand it. James Coco went mad in fifteen minutes."

Shelbyville can try and Eagleton it up all they want, they'll never be Capital City/Indianapolis!

We all got it comin', kid.

"LEMON TREE!?"

Nelson said there's no time to explain how hilarious "Lemon Of Troy" is and he sticks by that.

Curiously, I think "Bart the Genius" was MY first, and at the time, as a little jerk who felt that his brilliance was being overlooked in favor of those in my class who CHILDISHLY "applied" themselves, resonated with me profoundly. It was only later that I could look back and watch an episode like that and be like "Oh

Absolutely. It's like Abe's motivation for ranting and rambling isn't what you'd think: to be admired or adored, but instead just because he LOVES to rant and ramble.

I'd say it's because it's a VERY Lisa line. Maybe you have to really love Lisa to dig it, though. Of course, this is coming from the guy who thinks "That'll learn him to bust my tomater" is the all-time funniest Lisa line simply BECAUSE it's so un-Lisa-like.

I think there's a little bit of Christmas magic in "Lemon Of Troy" that even the most cynical SNPPer is powerless to refuse. It seems like the sort of script someone who writes Simpsons fan fiction would dream to do. A spec that would land them on the show instantly.

I hate to be that guy but…just kidding…I LOVE to be that guy.
