1995?

to be fair, disembodied heads ages 18-34 are a key demographic for the AV Club.

I don't think downvoting would do that. it looks like somebodies going around flagging indiscriminately, and somebody on the moderation side of things is just taking every flagger's word for it without actually reading the comments to see if they deserve to be deleted.

I'm intrigued about this Superman on heroin concept of yours.

Maximilian Schell has died. not because of this, though.

and why are there two different stock avatars? I mean, I could see if the full body "men's restroom" stock avatar like yours were paired with a "women's restroom" stock avatar for the stock ladies, but the other one is just a portrait stock avatar! is that what it gives you automatically if you register as female?

with Some Kind of Wonderful's Mary Stuart Masterson in a flesh colored bikini?

okay, so you know the scene in the commercial where his girlfriend dumps him cause he's drinking coffee out of a cereal bowl? can we, as a society, just agree to a moratorium of approximately one decade on movies and television shows in which characters dump other characters for extremely superficial and capricious

can somebody explain to me why that comment was deleted? it seemed
perfectly harmless to me. and I've noticed alot of seemingly harmless
comments today have been getting deleted. I haven't taken notes of who
posted them, maybe they were all from some old trolls sock, and they got

Starring Ke$ha!

exactly: it's a terrible idea, with it's finger on the pulse of 1995. it's terribleness and datedness will sort itself out, so there's really no use wasting any genuine anger on it. just about the only thing that will actually make it a success is if, against all odds, it's actually a pretty decent movie, in which

okay, calm down, it's stupid, but it's not the end of the world.

the linkedin update is coming from inside the house!

eh, I just see it as something that was never going to stay in that exact form if it were successful. it was going to have it's successful strains adopted and adapted into the mainstream, with four-color printing, and the rest would fall away. it would be naive to expect a movement like that to play out any other way.

poor football fans, it must be so hard for you this time of year.

did it go disastrously bust, or did it revitalize the industry, spawning numerous comic book publishers and imprints, many of whom are still around today, before being absorbed into the mainstream, like any successful movement eventually would be?

can we just not do this?

yeah, I'm stuck with my squashed version left over from a discus change from years ago, that when I finally recently tried to fix it I found no way to access that function.
