One of the reasons I've decided the island is a space ship is that it displaced, like, no water when it moved. Seriously, I've skipped stones that have caused a bigger ripple. It must float on the surface of the island and have a low density, I think. And be a space ship.

"As far as we know, Widmore wanted everybody dead when they were on the island. Does he not want them dead now that they're off the island?"

(Oh, I know Locke isn't on the list either, which doesn't fit with my theory-lette. However, there's been speculation that Ben might have removed Locke from the list because he knew Locke was being groomed for power, so…anyway, it's a work in progress.)

"but at one point we had a beach full of random other people that we never met. Were they just unlucky enough to get on a plane with a bunch of other connected people?"

I don't know if radiation fits. Rousseau killed her team because she was worried that whatever they had would spread to the outside world if they were rescued. As a scientist, I think she would recognize radiation poisoning. There's also no reason why she wouldn't also experience that. It's possible (maybe even

It was worth it just for the cut to Jack "Drive. We need to go now." or whatever. That cracked me up, and Jack almost never gets to do that. If they had dragged out her red herring status for more than half an episode, it would probably bug, but I thought it was well-played.

I definitely thought that Locke, at least, made the connection. Didn't the scene cut right afterwards? They'll figure it out. Whether that information will be useful to them, I don't know.

i actually moved back east specifically so i could watch Lost three hours earlier.

Like, maybe Jin met up with *another* crew of French dudes and a pregnant lady? I think that cliff was unhung as soon as Locke said "French".

Question is, did they pick up Jin the first time around? Rousseau never mentioned him, or paid him any attention, but given her super-sized order of crazy that might not mean anything.

I think recasting is warranted - it plays up the fact that Rousseau has *suffered*. Seeing that adorable girl with great skin, knowing what's going to happen to her down the line - very effective. I still hope we see Mira Furlan again in some context - her creepy presence is missed.

Still watching the last 15 minutes, so I can't check to see if this has been noted. Ben's carpet cleaning truck has a name that's just dying for an anagram - how about Reincarnation?

Thank god for Peter, because that scene in the hotel was beginning to bug me. Sydney Bristow would not have sat there for 15 minutes in awkward silence after being asked a simple question.

we want our film, this whole time I've been thinking your icon was Screech. I finally clicked on it. I just felt the need to tell you all that. That beard was not Jack's best choice in life.

So, this met CNN's qualifications for "news", huh?
I guess I won't bother being surprised.

Hey, if it's good enough for Heathers….

That was great. Are Sheldon, Leonard and Raj professors, or are they doing post-doc work? I'm not clear on that. Professors make decent money (I imagine even better than I'm thinking in the hard sciences), and beyond comic books and chinese food they don't have a ton of expenses.

I did not realize how pregnant she was. Absolutely awesome visual gag. Yay writers!

I've always assumed that he's giving his kids the gist of the stories we're getting, minus some details. Cause otherwise, yeah, ick. I mean, "the Belt"? If my dad ever told me a story like that I'd move to another state and change my name.

It's funny, I've heard Olivia Wilde was great in some off-Broadway play everyone was talking about a while back. But she really doesn't bring much to this character, and the writers aren't helping her. It's just way too much plot for one character on an ensemble show.
