I'm just skeptical they'll do the whole plot justice. It was masterclass stuff, but I'm thrown by the inclusion of a scene where Baelish basically says, "I am taking you out of here, whether you like it or not." Kinda tones down the shock factor of the Dontos-Littlefinger-Olenna collusion.

Bran and Rickon can't separate until the Reeds make an appearance, and really, in the books Rickon is three while on the show he seems a year or two younger than Bran. I think he can manage the trek North.

Funny, Dontos was beyond grating and I wished someone edited him out completely. I think the writers jumping straight to the Littlefinger/Sansa storyline is a smart decision. I just hope we don't lose our fantastic visit to the Vale.

Ian McShane…in the Red Keep…as SPOILERS the High Septon? I think my television would explode.

Once Tarlock cut her with the ice splinters, the game changed. What was a pissing match turned into a deadly situation, and Korra unleashed her fury and aggravation. I don't think she would have killed him, but she wanted to beat him into submission. And she would have if Tarlock didn't play his bloodbending hand. No

Whenever I think of that final scene, I think of Stefan's face. It's as though we're looking at an advance screening of Elena's utter devastation. And it makes me sad too, because the one thing I admired most about Elena was how she clung to her humanity, how she wanted adulthood and all that came with it. The more I

I don't know if you've ever seen 'A Lot Like Love', but Amanda Peet's character stated some baloney thing about if Ashton Kutcher's character made the first move, then it was love, and it turned out he did, in fact, make the first move. When Elena gave Damon that caveat, it was meant as a half-assed consolation until,

And wear leather.

Damon and Stefan preparing for E-Day totally reminded me how old they actually are. It was another solid moment between the brothers. I prefer them talking about Elena and how they'll get over it eventually to Elena talking about her Salvatore sandwich.

About the Originals not being fearsome enough: out of all of them, Michael and Elijah represented the kind of complexity you want antagonists to possess. Elijah is badass, no question, but his morality is so skewed and so situational that his trigger is hard to define and definitely harder to anticipate and counter.

That 15 minute Alaric elegy was done so we wouldn't feel bad when Damon or probably Elena stakes him. At least they'll get an indestructible white oak stake as a consolation prize.

Elijah better live. At least he wouldn't rage at a perfectly coiffed corpse in a casket. He'd kill Esther and be done with it. But not being proactive and surprising is something TVD is determined to perfect this season.

I read this and immediately envisioned the Dowager Countess discussing TVD with Mrs. Crawley over a full tea service. Except the Dowager is absolutely spot on.

Elijah is the Salvatore uber-sire. Make it happen, show.

I was skeptical of the bad ring storyline, but dark Alaric is so chilling. It was like Jack Torrence: The Revival. That letter Alaric drafted to Jeremy, as well as the pre-slasher scene between Alaric and Meredith makes me wonder if the downside to immunity to supernatural death is connected to the witches' natural
