It really depends on the show, I'd imagine. I mean, Once and School of Rockare shows about musicians, so it makes perfect sense. (Also, when I saw Once, I saw a dude DANCING WITH A CELLO). For the production of Sweeney Todd that did it, it had a metatextual element, so it made sense.
Clue is underrated as shit. In fact, now that you mention it, I'm wondering why it's not on my list of favorite movies!
One day I'm going to see that movie.
This is almost entirely unrelated, but have you seen/heard the early footage back from when Chris Farley was starring in Shrek?
Did Cougar Town apologize for breaking up Ted Buckland and Stephanie Gooch? Because that's unforgivable!
Some people out there seem to really dislike how meta the film gets in the final act, but it's really the cherry on top of the perfect sundae that is Blazing Saddles.
I'll never tell.
Exhibit B in the case for "Alex Trebek Hates America and Its Freedoms."
Throw out your hands!
Stick out your tush!
Hands on your hips!
Give 'em a push!
I knew none of this before tonight, and I feel all the richer for knowing it now.
I like the idea of having actors play the instruments in theory (I saw a production of Once, where that's an established part of the show, and it was amazing) but I feel like it really doesn't gel with a show like Company.
Dreamgirls with Eddie Murphy.
Nah. I'm just off-putting.
I feel like it's a waste to be a porn star named Mary Carey and not be known for something like This Ain't Glitter XXX: A Porn Parody.
I haven't seen Hot Shots!
I really liked Dana, but I will admit that she kind of lost me by bombing on DD3.
Because he is a Communist sympathizer and a traitor to America!
I remember being happy that Zane lost, because he looked like a serial killer (and I know a thing or two about looking like a serial killer), being sad that my girlfriend wasn't there to see their tribute to David Bowie, and having an overall good time with tonight's game.
I won't lie- if everyone answered with a Marx Brothers film, I would be a happy man indeed.
