Neil Patrick Harris also made an excellent Bobby in Stephen Sondheim's Company (at least from the parts of his performance I've seen). I think his performance of "Being Alive" is my favorite to listen to. I mean, I love Raul Esparza, but I think that particular production isn't all that great (again, from the parts

Hello everyone and welcome to Debate Club. I am feeling horribly depressed today, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here, so I thought I'd try and bring some positivity to our lives tonight! So my question is- What, in your opinion, is the funniest movie you've ever seen?

*looks around to make sure no one can hear him*

I don't know. Does it look like it was shot on a budget of whatever the producer found under his couch cushions while somehow having an audience so large that it would be unreasonable to assume a Faustian deal wasn't in play?

Everyone knows true spinoff titles are the names of the most popular side character on the original show.

Season 7 didn't completely murder the beautiful ambiguity that was the ending of My Finale, regress the relationship between J.D. and Dr. Cox or ruin the Janitor's character development for the sake of explaining why Neil Flynn was doing The Middle, all of which is something I assume Season 9 would have done.

My dad recently posted the whole "Armani jacket" meme thing.

You call yourself a debater? You couldn't debate a haaaaaaaaaam sandwich!

Speaking of films I'm tired of people saying good things about!

I guess. I personally just got into Wicked, so I haven't had the time to listen to Hamilton more than twice.

But Season 8 ending already paved the way! The imaginary Season 9 didn't need to die, for it truly never needed to live!

I kind of agree. On the one hand, the movie is so atrocious on every other level that talking about its box office seems unnecessary.

I drink a lot of Mountain Dew to mask the self-loathing.

People need to just constantly agree with me so I can be completely ensconced in an echo chamber and I never have to hear an opinion that challenges mine ever!

I will hear no good words said in this completely imaginary show's name!

It's interesting that Richard Ayoade is known for writing a movie that he directed, when "Director" usually outranks "Writer" in the "imdb best known for" race.

Hey, me too!

I've had the opposite experience! I genuinely hate that movie, but I hesitate to bring it up because a lot of people say it's a classic, and no one wants to be the guy who hates a classic!

See, that's a movie I'm tired of people saying good things about.

I would never call it "pretentious" or "boring". I would say that while I recognize its importance as a piece of cinema and I appreciate the sheer artistry and technical skill behind it, it simply never grabbed me in any meaningful way that could make me love it.
