Rob Corddry as Dan Dreiberg is something I legitimately want to be a thing now!

J.D.M. as the Comedian is brilliant casting, and I liked Patrick Wilson as Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl II, and Stephen McHattie in the Director's Cut (not the original cut, because the movie really doesn't do him justice in that cut) was excellent.

I won't lie that I liked the sex scene in the movie, but for entirely difference reasons, that Schlubby Patrick Wilson Man ass Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" playing during the scene. I don't care what people say about that scene or the use of that song, it's staged perfectly.

I haven't made it clear until now, so I'll explain: I was in High School, where EVERYBODY loved 300 (They also loved Zoolander, which I've warmed up overtime) , even my girlfriend at the time, so when I saw it and didn't like it, I caught shit for maybe a year after, so I hate 300 more than a reasonable human being…

I hate the way the movie is staged because she's just standing there for the whole number. I blame the director for not knowing how to direct the movie, of what I remember, there are no cuts, edits, she just stands there for 3 minutes. Perhaps it speaks to the ADHD culture I'm a part of, but something has to be going…

I'm of the same mindset, it's not "Don't Walk Away" or "The Fall", which are just really, really good songs with a little more to chew on. I think the only time I've liked the song is for some video of people dancing around the world, and that was just cute, but the song is just boring.

I'm of the exact same Persuasion, except that I like the Graphic Novel, but I like how they make enough changes while providing enough of Snyder's style to the film.

The "I'm Alive" sequence is so silly, but the actual song is just a happy number. Whatever can be said about the Electric Light Orchestra, they knew how to make lots of happy songs, and "I'm Alive" is no exception.
