Yeah White Crosses is my favourite too.

Yeah that's exactly how I read that song, which is one of my favourites. Although I can see how that climactic "the revolution was a lie" line could convince people to take it the other way.

Ha, yeah, I guess it's tough when you're going on middle age and you still ARE a Teenage Anarchist.
Oh also, piano, I think having keys on tracks on that album pissed off some 'hardcores'.

I remember hearing someone go on about how 'I was a Teenage Anarchist' is the worst thing in the world because "it's like supposed to be about anarchy and stuff but this is like, a pop song and totally not hardcore, that's fucked up that you'd write an anarchist song without it being totally hardcore." Point of the

I liked White Crosses. A lot. Sure it was slick and produced, but the songs were really catchy, had an awesome energy, and still had some raw edge. Don't get why it's always trashed.

Yeah, why is a rerun of The Crazy Ones pulling 2x the demo ratings as a new MJF? How does CBS manage to get people to just watch their shows whenever, whatever, but NBC actively scares people away?

Last shot of the episode with Hitchcock shirtless, so amazing.

Ronan Farrow is (most likely) Frank Sinatra's kid. When you're offspring of the Chariman you don't give no fucks.

Naw, it's ears. It's a gag on the fact the Eccelston has (obviously) pretty prominent ears. Remember, in 'Rose' #9 sees himself in the mirror for the first time and notes the ears.

The crappy part is I bet it does get better. I bet Whedon gets some more control himself, a bunch the crappy characters get killed of/replaced with interesting people, the plots get interesting and more cohesive, and the humor substantially improves.

fatty faw down!!!!!

Miracle day

Hmm I'm about half way through the final season of Torchwood, it's a bit of a slog, wonder if I should just drop it.

AVClub done become just another arm of the librul lamestream media. Contributing to the persecution of us good workin' white folks. Benghazi.

It's all in this new bullshit liberal attitude that's getting adopted all the time (mostly on the blogs to generate click bait cough*cough*Jezebel) where if something is being heralded in mainstream culture for its progressive values then you have to react against it and deem it PROBLEMATIC!!~!
It's like people are

Come on directors let's make a deal

Yeah same, I cook rice multiple times a week and have just used a pot every time I've ever done it.
A good point below though about a rice cooker being able to keep it all day.

Loved Good Eats. Imagine that, a Food Network show that's actually about how to cook something, features useful information, and teaches you techniques that you can actually use, instead of just another bullshit reality show or competition.

Not my mode of operation man.

Sean. Average and Median are not the same thing and should not be used interchangeably in your reporting.
