I can see the wisdom in taking Monica to the end, but I think Tyson and co. might have been better served cutting her loose and keeping Tina around one more vote.

I liked how he realized he was cheering WAY too hard for Gervase at the end, and sort of back-pedaled with a "Come on, Culpepper!" cheer for Monica, as if to avoid coming across exactly the way he usually does.

I sincerely thought they were getting immunity and tribal out of the way early on to build to a one-on-one duel between Aras and Vytas at the end of the episode. I don't know why I didn't think it would be a three-way like usual, since this will allow them to continue the Aras/Vytas show over on Redemption for a few

This episode gave Tyson more of a winner's edit than any other episode so far. I wouldn't worry about him. At least not yet.

I was kind of floored by the pacing of this episode, as it pretty much gave away the results. We don't get rid of two people in one episode unless it's a boring, by-the-numbers vote the producers just wanna get out of the way.

Felt like legally Bond, to me.

For Our Consideration: Are we in the Golden Age of incendiary headlines?

Did that scene with Tom and Red play, to anyone else, like Red essentially telling Tom, "This is what you will do if you know what’s good for you"?

Yeah, I think you're right. It will be all in the execution. But I guess I just worry about how the show will handle the development if that actually turns out to be the case. I'm not sure an extended arc in which Liz pouts a lot and vows to stop working with Red would be the right way to go, and that's sort of how I

I flipped my shit when none of the three teachers got the Dickens question. Granted, Dickens is one of my favorite authors, so I was more prone to shouting at the screen than usual.

I thought Red took the Ludd case to them while rejecting their plea to help with another case. If General Ludd wasn't a blacklister, why did he have a number in the episode title? (General Ludd: No. 109)

James Spader is a man for all seasons. He's seriously the only reason to watch this show.

Philite

Can someone please clarify if it's Herschel or Hershel?

I did enjoy the lampshading of why this Francis is so fit and vigorous whereas the historical Francis was constantly at death's door. Turns out the painter screwed up his royal portrait!

I really wasn't that high on the case at all, but I loved all the character stuff. Cheap Plug City, but here's my review: http://www.rickey.org/eleme…

Helena Bonham Carter as Miss Havisham, because of course she is.

Yeah, I went back and rewatched and have no idea how on Earth I missed that. I must be secretly deaf.

That's a great point. Has that ever actually happened before?

I could imagine Tina probably felt it would be insulting to Monica's intelligence (stop laughing) to pretend that she wasn't on the bottom of an alliance comprised of two pairs of family members. So Tina probably thought she was showing respect for Monica by being up front with her about where she stood. But even if
