I mostly used the "allowed to happen" verbiage because Brody's status as a Senator must have meant they didn't check his car as thoroughly as they might have checked another civilian's car, and even if the likelihood of a bomb was 1%, it's still a failure on the part of the people in charge of security checks (whether

I read it as "third best Harry Potter movie."

Community Grade: F-

This is basically Panic Attack: The Motion Picture to me. I get anxiety just watching ads for this.

I'm kind of having trouble processing my feelings about this season finale. I enjoyed it, to a certain extent, in the same way I've always enjoyed the show, which has largely maintained a consistent level of quality throughout the season, even if the tone was occasionally uneven from week to week.

So I had been hoping Colton would learn something from this entire experience, and hoped the post-episode videos would bear this out.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking All About Eve during this episode. I already like where the storyline is going, and Hayden Panettiere is great at playing exasperation. She always has this thin veneer of contempt for everyone, which should make her a far more off-putting character than she is, but I totally

I love how this episode pretty much emphasized the one thing that bugs me about all the Investigation Discovery ads I keep seeing on random channels: that every show on the damn network is pretty much the same across the board.

"Ugh, it's probably fucking Stan!"

Colton:  "I've loved the strategy component of the game."

Yeah, it's kind of like with acting awards.

I've already busted out the cardboard to do the Farewell NaOnka Spin and the Peace Out Purple Kelly Shuffle, followed by the Angry That Quitters Are Allowed On The Showsy Hop.

Yeah, I do agree on the faking part, since the med team made the recommendation to pull Colton out of the game, IIRC.

@avclub-eaaf6236c28c668e40fdf9b17394b7ec:disqus I can't wait for Season 28's "Ongang" tribe!

If the members of the Locker Room alliance can use Brad as a human shield to absorb all the hatred of the other tribe, then members within that alliance actually have a decent shot of going far, particularly if they’re able to disavow any association with his decisions. As for Brad, I’m not sure how he could

I can't imagine the show withholding a scene in which someone finds an idol, although I kind of wish they would at some point, for dramatic purposes (although it might require a flashback the next week to show the discovery of the idol, and that's an editing technique I just can't see the show doing).

"And talk about a queen. The guy is the worst kind of wimpy gay stereotype imaginable, with the exaggerated voice and prancing mannerisms. He's almost like that guy from Revenge of the Nerds, but lacking the subtlety."

@JudgeReinhold:disqus I'd like to pretend I'm disappointed in the casting department, but we've known for a long time now that said department is more or less populated with barely-functioning morons.

Of course, the downside is that, once again, Colton avoids getting voted out, so he can rant on and on after the fact about how he could have turned the game around and blah blah blah. In essence, he still doesn't really learn anything, as he can just play this off as everyone being mean to him and not understanding

I don't know, that speech sounded like the rant of a man who knew that exactly this would happen, yet he was overruled by higher-ups.
