Yes. I used to act (not necessarily fantastically) and that scene always makes me wonder how you even film that, how you even dredge up that kind of utter pain and desperation.

OH AND
I think..I think I nominate Revenge - Impetus, the second-last episode of the season. All the moving parts of the season came together in ridiculous fashion and it lead up to the most perfect, hateful, snide rant/confession of Conrad Grayson.
Yes. I was about to bring up the crazy girlfriend, because the plot with her is very similar to the steroid plot: very odd, in an orbit by itself, not related to anything else really going on. AND THEN it ends just as abruptly as it began.
Yeah i feel like between Locke and Eko there was more than one vistionquest type thing and I'm never a fan of that. Like, I generally don't care for writers who use dreams to hit on something about their characters. Stephen King does this a lot and I usually skim over it. I just don't find it all that enlightening.
Actually, that was the episode that made me stop watching for awhile. Granted, part of it was being in a frustrating living situation where I had no good way to watch it so it was a chore and then to have to sit through that was like…eff this.
i thought i replied to this already but now i'm not seeing the reply.
I can't recall, is that the one with Hurley's dad? There's also a dud flashback with Claire at some point, maybe the one where her mom almost dies? However, at least that tied in slightly better because of Claire's tie to Jack/Christian.
I also occasionally pop on to talk about the following because lololol the following. Hi Scrawler!
Ole FalseRumors makes a triumphant return just to talk about LOST.
It seems painfully obvious to me that, based on the popularity of Hannibal, they're going to try and make Joe Carroll a Hannibal-in-captivity type figure. So much sneering and wise-cracking. A touch of actual advice on how to catch Murder Twin. Lots of looking like he just smelled his own farts and liked it.

My Chemical Romance, "Helena"
yes. i moved a ways away from it, so i can't frequent it anymore, but I think the most expensive it is is $2.50, maybe $3 on saturday nights. the theater is not a total hell hole either, though it isn't in the best of neighborhoods.
Saw this at a $1 theater. As it became apparent that Adrian Brody was about to bang this creature, the big black lady sitting next to me screamed "AWWW HELLL NO!"
Dunno if it really fits the theme, but
Saw this at a screening. It's bad. SO SO SO SO BAD. Me and the boyfriend laughed through most of it, mostly at the weird little clips of Jon Voigt as the criminal mastermind. Brief glimpses of him drinking a martini, then later biting into the olives, then eventually smashing the glass down when Hawke does something…
Yeah! Between this and Parenthood, Martha Plimpton was kind of my idol for awhile.
This movie really gets me every time. And turns out, most people have never heard of it, I've discovered. But part of my teen angst was watching every river phoenix movie, and by doing so i discovered this gem.
