One of those movies that fit into my limited, but effective "I Bawled Uncontrollably For No Discernible Reason" genre. Also included: The Object of My Affection, Lars and the Real Girl.

Shia's line reading of the things not to do when making a human pyramid is one of my favorites in the show. So deathly serious.
I don't know why, or to what end, she would be luring Dexter into this weird fake investigation, but its just my hunch.
Haven't read through all the comments, but anyone else think maybe Vogel has been obsessed with psychopaths for too long and is now just trying her hand at BEING one?
Of course the AV Club is the place full of other Kim Kelly fans. Everyone I know IRL has watched, and loved, the show but I seem to be the only person who is madly in love with Kim as a character. She's up there in terms of depth and transformation on this show.
I MISSED THIS PICTURE
Lisa Lisa Lisa.
Here's the thing: movie savvy folks will figure out the twist because we know how this works. When you know there's a mystery leader that even the Horsemen don't know, and when you're given a cast of folks: Freeman, Ruffalo, French Chick and Caine, you know the mystery leader HAS to be one of them. The key is…
lol i knew i was forgetting something important as i was typing that but I WAS IN A HURRY OKAY.
Yeah I'm with you. The framing device was bad and unnecessary but I was hard pressed to think of things Baz omitted/did a terrible disservice to. DiCaprio was stellar. Not that that's surprising, but it was nice to see him in something like this, as I feel he was getting a bit slogged down in overly-serious broody…
On the tail end of Stephen King's THE DEAD ZONE. I don't know about you, but I have a whole stack of King I've never read (they're so easy to come by) that I pick up when I'm in a book drought or don't have time to get to the library. I'm thoroughly enjoying this one.
Damn, infinite possibilities. And it was Alice Cooper.
Nailed it. Boyfriend walked out of the movie going "BUT THE OTHER DUDE SUGGESTED THE HYPNOTIST! THAT'S A LOT OF COINCIDENCE".
In fact, Nick singing "Lady" at an awkward, horrified Lindsay may be the most telling musical moment in the show.
God damn. I also forgot about Nick's amazing rendition of "Lady". For the love of god, please do one of these F&G musical moments.
Freaks and Geeks. Beers and Weirs. Millie busting out "Jesus Is Just Alright" on the piano to the delight of Nick Andopolis, and to the dismay of the rest of the partygoers.
It's so hard to keep track!
Wait did Chicago Hope do a musical? Or are you thinking of Grey's Anatomy.
I second this nomination. The show pared down to its most perfect, pure moment. It epitomized what the show was about and where it was going.
Isn't Jack Horner the name of Burt Reynolds character in Boogie Nights? Is Jurassic Park 4 going to be an adult film?
