I was going to be shocked that there was no Newswire about the recent news that three judges were axed from ANTM (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/e…, but then I realized no one really cares.

Yes, it still works great on the individual level for the vast majority of Netflix subscribers, but I'd dare to say that is all despite some of their latest business practices.  Just think what the company would have looked like now if they had not hastily retracted practically everything they announced.  And even you

You know, I'm pretty sure that, after putting in all that hard effort to build up and then systematically destroy a DVD-distribution/streaming empire in the face of naysayers and irate customers, Reed Hastings has developed enough of a backbone to be able to tolerate a few negative comments from anonymous posters with

If you dislike it so much, why are you reading the review and posting comments about it?  It perplexes me (and amuses me at the same time) when people deliberately read an article that they know they won't agree with and then get all fired up about it.

I'm asking out of ignorance here, because I've just never paid much attention (or any, in all honesty) to the intricacies of behind-the-scenes work for movies and TV, but:

If that's the case, she should never shorten it.  "Finikki Finke" is a name worthy of a classic Disney villain.

I will say that the ending of Code Geass was so damn tragic that it still sticks with me.  I never even watched the show, except for a handful of episodes in the beginning and one or two at the very end.  And it may have been inevitable, considering what must have happened in all those episodes I missed.  But still,

That's interesting.  I have an extremely limited knowledge about Austen's life, but doesn't Mary's rather sad epilogue mirror Austen's life a bit?  I want to say that Austen never married and lived her entire life with her family as any typical unmarried gentlewoman did in those days.

Yes!  I've read every other Murakami novel except IQ84, and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle was the only one I haven't been able to finish, mostly because of the main character.

If it makes you feel better, I never liked Angel either.

I understand why she was written the way she was, but I'm still one of those fashionable people who didn't really like her character.

I've always felt so sorry for Mary.  She is constantly overshadowed by her sisters and has little chance for ending up happily, and she is even implicitly mocked in the BBC series.

Sometimes even the strongest soldier falls.  RIP Levon Helm.

It seems to be less embarrassment and more outright fear.  I feel like its beady little eyes are begging us to help it.

I think his looks would be alright if his personality hadn't completely exploded.  I think that makes him uglier than any physical aging.

Add a HURRRAAAAAYYYYY! onto the end of that, and it just might work.

Second on the remix.

Yeah, the only good vagina managers are the ones who've put in long hours to really learn their trade.

Oh god, all it took was one mention of "tooch" in this review, and that damn UK song from last week is back in my head.  Make it stop!!!

@avclub-e65076d21d4b718526e684473c359d55:disqus : Which one would you recommend for a mostly first-time watcher?  I've seen a bit of the first Fullmetal Alchemist series, but never got past the first four or five episodes.  I'd like to pick it up again and see it all the way through, but now I'm confused by the two
