For a, IMO, better film based on the same true story, I'd recommend "Citizen X", starring Stephen Rea, Donald Sutherland, Jeffery DeMunn and Max von Sydow.

I saw the movie today - one complaint (and a rather geeky one at that). Because Logan's adamantium skeleton was artificially infused, i.e. not part of his biology, he should not have been able to regenerate his claws after having them lopped off by the Silver Samurai. At best, he would have regenerated bone claws.…

As far as best baseball movie, my vote still goes to "Eight Men Out". I enjoy Bull Durham, but EMO is one of those movie that when I'm channel-surfing and it's on, I have to stop and watch it.
