God, I love that fucking sketch. Their utter certainty that they're pulling off some side-splitting stunt, coupled with the bystanders' complete lack of reaction, is amazing.

They're about as cheap as the buses that city council candidates rent for their campaigns, which are covered in the media like Senate races.

This is a really good point that had never really occurred to me. Miller, Nealon, Macdonald and Quinn were all completely different from one another, while Fallon/Fey, Fey/Poehler, Poehler/Meyers, Meyers solo and Meyers/Strong are all pretty much identical in their deliveries, to be honest.
